Purses

Purses have always been a passion of mind since I was a little girl playing dress up. I grew up on a farm with two older brothers, running machines and helping with the farm chores, but that didn't keep me from having a girly side. I was always carting a purse/ handbag around. Up until the point I just didn't have enough closet space anymore.

Fast forward to adulthood and I still love paring a good beautifully made handbag with an outfit. Be it for a customer meeting, a fun party or and evening out with my husband, a good handbag makes the outfit! So naturally when it came to leather working I immediately started with creating handbags. Talk about diving right off the deep end as handbags are a challenge to create. All my purses are completely hand stitched by me. Most times I will be sitting on my couch working late into the evening stitching up a purse. But all the hard work is worth it in the end when everything comes together and I can smile at the finished product.
