A little bit about me……My name is Rebecca Drewry (formerly Rebecca  Spitzer,  hence  the  name  R  Spitzer  Leather  Works)  and I am a passionate artisan who specializes in creating handmade custom purses and small leather goods in my quaint workshop nestled deep within the woods. With a deep love for nature and a keen eye for design, I find inspiration in the serene surroundings of my secluded workshop, surrounded by towering trees and the soothing sounds of wildlife.

My journey into the world of leatherworking began years ago with my love for horses and the fine leather tack used for riding. From the elegant, sophisticated English saddles to the rugged hand tooled western saddles, intrigued by the intricate techniques and the beauty of theses pieces, I set out to acquire the skills necessary to make leather products myself. Through dedication, practice, and a thirst for knowledge, I am slowly transforming my skills into a small artisan business.

What I think sets me apart as a leather worker is my unwavering commitment to creating unique, one-of-a-kind purses and leather goods. Items that you won’t find mass produced in big box stores or on fast fashion websites. I create pieces that have character. I put time, thought and love into each item. I then meticulously hand craft and hand stitch each piece. From the initial concept to the final stitches, all to ensures that each item is a work of art!
